The Company harnesses the collective resources of a team of highly skilled and experience building professionals under the direction of its Managing Director, Alexander Anderson. The Management team meets monthly to discuss overall company performance and direction; implementing new strategies in response to market forces.
Alexander Anderson
Managing Director
Alex has a background as a senior Engineer on larger projects. He is a qualified builder in NSW and ACT and has skills in Management, Systems development and Administration.
He continues to maintain a hands-on approach to the strategic direction and management of the Company, however actively engaging others at a management level with the aim of establishing best practice throughout the Company.
Ross Clifford
Commercial Business Manager
Ross has been in the construction industry for over 30 years, during which time his experience includes the management of his own construction company and leading the operations of various divisions within Bovis Lend Lease, both in Australia and overseas.
He currently oversees the expansion of Metro’s commercial construction division, building smaller scale commercial projects such as shopping centre’s, childcare centres and unit complexes. His role includes the introduction of best practice systems throughout the Company and the up-skilling of existing staff.
Graham Baxter
Business Development Manager
Graham brings a wealth of business ownership and management experience spanning more than thirty years (30) across a variety of industries in the ACT and NSW. Most recently operating a management consultancy practice working with business clients on a whole of business approach to management.
As Business Development Manager, Graham focuses on the implementation of best practice planning, systems and strategies throughout the company as well as identifying new opportunities for future developments.
Simon Oliver
Financial Controller
Simon is a Chartered Accountant with extensive public accounting experience specializing in the construction and hospitality industries within the Canberra region. He has 15 years experience as an Accountant and understands the requirements of small and large business in the community.
His role involves company structuring, financial planning, monitoring and reporting of financial performance along with dealing directly with funders.
